  • I have never had such an easy pain free visit at any other office! All of the staff are so friendly and always helpful as well. The doctors patience and professionalism was key. The Isodry helped so much to make my experience more comfortable. I also have issues with numbing, but Dr. Patel made sure and went the extra mile to ensure I was numb and pain free before she started.

  • I rated them a 5 star because of there outstanding staff and Dr. Miller is a phenomenal doctor, really thorough with your visit and never a discomforting moment when it comes to procedures. I found my new dentist! Thank you Doc!

  • These two are epic! This is NOTHING like going to the dentist as a kid. This place has EVERY state of the art gizmo to make you super comfortable. No pain, nothing to be nervous about, and you get to watch TV while the experts just crush it! Dr. Paul, Dr. Rita, and my hygienist Julie were awesome!!!!!!
    Matt L.
  • I had a great first appointment here today! The staff is very friendly and caring. I love the use of technology to show patients areas that need treatment or special care. My husband is not a huge fan of dentists and he recommended our family to switch and I am so happy we did!

  • One of the biggest fears of going to the dentist is the needle that is injected in your gums causing you to want to turn into the Hulk and wreak havoc on the town. I went to this dental office and sat in the chair as flashbacks of past dental experiences tried to convince me to be like Michael Jackson and beat it. To my surprise this was one of the best dental experiences I've had. I did not feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure. Combined with a friendly staff and clean location this dental office will change your tune on what the normal dentist visit entails.

  • I cannot thank you enough for the manner in which you assisted me through this process. By the time I saw you, my infection was so advanced that I was beginning to feel extremely ill. I think some divine intervention may have been involved when I picked up the phone and called your office and I will be forever grateful for your assistance. You are a very rare and special individual and David and I feel fortunate to have experienced our paths crossing.

Night guards

Clenching your teeth or waking up with a dull headache or a sore jaw are symptoms of a condition called bruxism. You may be unaware that you’re grinding your teeth since it most often happens while you’re asleep. The clenching and grinding may be very loud, loud enough to bother your spouse; teeth grinders are very quiet and don’t realize they’re doing it until their dentist discovers worn spots on their teeth.

Bruxism may be occasional or frequent. The grinding can damage dental restorations, loosen teeth and damage the joints that connect your lower jaw to your skull. Grinding and clenching may cause teeth to crack and your enamel to wear away, making teeth sensitive to temperature changes.

Regular dental checkups can serve to detect damage while in the early stages. Depending on your individual case, we can treat bruxism in several ways. We may prescribe a nightguard that is worn while sleeping. Custom-made from soft material, the nightguard slips over your top or bottom teeth in one jaw to prevent contact with the opposing teeth.

Grinding is sometimes caused by an abnormal bite (the teeth do not fit well together correctly). Treatment may include reducing the “high spots” on one or more teeth. For serious cases, we may suggest reshaping or reconstructing the biting surfaces with inlays or crowns.

If you think you may be grinding your teeth, please let us know during your next scheduled checkup or call us at (219) 750-1150 for more information.
