Dental Hygienist
Our private practice in Crown Point, Indiana, is seeking a patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. We provide excellent dental care in a friendly environment, and our experienced dentists and caring staff offer personalized services to ensure your comfort. We aim to build strong relationships with our patients and the community, helping our patients smile confidently. Our team values loyalty and trust, and we make everyone feel welcome.
Our ideal Dental Hygienist will excel in:
Having a solid understanding of periodontal disease
Recording dental histories and documentation of periodontal & restorative conditions with specific details
Effective instrumentation with both hand instruments and ultrasonics
Attention to detail and the ability to evaluate your work effectively
Partnering with the Dentists to instruct and educate patients, ensuring long-term dental health
Maintaining their own instruments and clinical room
Being comfortable using technology, including practice management software, digital imaging, and intraoral cameras, as part of daily workflow.
Confidently communicate and help patients understand the treatment they need, presenting information in a clear, compassionate, and motivating way to support case acceptance.
Our ideal candidate will be patient education-focused, as well as possess:
Associate’s Degree from ADA-accredited dental hygiene school
1+ years proven hygiene experience
Current state licensure
HIPAA, OSHA & CPR Certified
Knowledge of Dentrix is preferred but not required

We seek a dedicated patient-focused Dental Assistant who loves working with patients and is committed to delivering excellent care.
What we are looking for:

Someone with great attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
A team player who works well in a positive, supportive environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to remain calm, focused and efficient under pressure
Our ideal candidate will possess:
1 year of dental assisting experience
DA License/Certification
X-Ray Certification (Preferred but not required)
